With SOMA Grand, AGI joins the small cadre of San Francisco high-rise residential developers. The project received key entitlements in early 2004 after extensive discussions between AGI and local stakeholders including tenants, neighborhood groups, area owners, and local planning officials.
Today's plan maximizes allowable onsite masses and utility to serve a transitioning area and a high-profile, high-traffic neighbor. Designed by Mill Valley's Architecture International, the project has a single tower-over-pedestal-design with elevated pool and garden, and ground-floor retail space, as well as much-needed short-term retail-serving parking.
Sales are scheduled to begin in late 2006 with the help of Pacific Marketing Associates.
